Description: **reduced price** 2004 ford ranger xlt, v6 4.0 litre, silver, 4×4, 57,346 miles, flare side sports bed with liner. The truck is in very good shape with no dents or major scratches. Tons of life in this truck. I previously owned a 1996 ranger. After over 200,000 miles it was time to replace it. I wanted another ranger so in april 2015  I  purchased this 2004 ranger via private purchase in connecticut (less salt=less rust). The truck is amazingly clean in terms of rust. Been oil under coated, very little rust at all underneath. Upon purchasing the truck  I  planned to drive it into the ground for the next decade or so. I took it to my mechanic, explained my goal and told him to replace or fix anything that looked worn or not up to par. I put in over $2000 to get the truck above and beyond, have the receipt to document what was done. I also purchased a brand new set of tires for the truck. In the year+ that  I ‘ve had the truck  I ‘ve only put on 4,000 miles (  I  basically only use the truck for dump runs, errands and trips to home depot). Thus the mileage on this truck is still under 60,000 and the tires only have 4,000 miles on them, they are like new. Why  I ‘m selling it: 1)  I  find the rear cab area difficult and inconvenient to access. I don’t remember my 1996 ranger being that difficult to access, but  I  find this space unpleasant to access. I plan to get a truck that has door access to the rear cab space. 2)  I  don’t drive it enough to warrant having this nice of a truck sitting in my driveway much of the time. I plan to get more of a knock around truck. But my primary reason for selling is the difficult access to the rear cab space. Other drawbacks to the truck: 1) oxygen sensor light on dash is on (common in rangers), 2) manual windows and locks, 3) there is a 3 inch spider line/crack at the top of the windshield. It has been there for the year  I ‘ve had the truck….Hasn’t grown any and it passed inspection. Positive attributes of the truck: tons. This will make someone a great truck for a long time. You are welcome to test drive it as well. Call or text if interested. Thanks.
